99 Version R

Post by FTO99R »

Well I've been told my job is now 1 day per week (seriously who can survive on that??) so considering selling the FTO to make some more $. I'm not desperate and I might not sell the car but wanna get a rough idea of what its worth and who knows might get a good offer. So here goes:
White 09/1999 FTO Version R in mint condition
65,000 kms
Cusco Zero Coil-Overs front and rear, fully adjustable
Black AU wheels with polished lip about 6 months old without a single mark on them
Just spent $1500 on gearbox recon with warranty
Blitz filter and high flow muffler (not cannon)
All else is stock version R running gear.
1st Aus owner imported in Feb
$16,500

At the moment I'l say no cause I spent a lot of time at tyre shops before I got these. If a buyer doesnt really care about the rims though I'l stick an old set on the car, give them a discount and sell these ones to you. By the way they're 18" AU-213 blacks. I thought they looked crap in the picture (check BSA website) but they look fantastic on the car.

Hate it when the managers at work are incompetant. Mine are. That's why I've been looking for a new job. Hotels are the way to go.! But sorry for stealing the thread. Still working on finding blokes who are interested in buying the car.

To be honest I havnt taken out an add or anything. Just figure that if I get a good offer from someone within the club I could be convinced to sell it cause I could do with the extra cash. So hijack away i'm not that bothered.

I think you're underestimating how long a company can hold out - it's not really going to bother them at all keeping you on 1 shift per week..

If you're not gonna quit & get a new, higher paying job you can at least get a second job on the days you're not working your current one.. ;)

What he said.

As for my job situation its a fair bit more complicated than I've been letting on. Anyway I'm looking for a 2nd job and hopefully it will all work out. In the meanwhile keep the offers coming

Can a moderator lock this thread, car's no longer for sale. I've found a little extra money so I'm keeping it.
