MIVEC Engine Controller (R-Spec Type 2)

Post by snowdrift77 »

Up for sale, a MIVEC controller to provide full control over the FTO MIVEC engine. It also works with Honda VITEC.

* Driver can set the normal high lifting cam switching point to below or above the factory set condition based on your driving needs and preference.
* Also this unit has a memory function to memorize the two different high lift cam settings. With this function, you can able to have 3 settings of high lift cam switching point (normal, and 2 other preferred settings). So you can change your setting based on what suites your driving needs by pushing the "SWITCH" button.

I found a good description of it here:
http://www.mitsubishi-fto.org/parts/ele ... mvc85x.htm

Comes with all necessary wiring and mounting accessories....
Couldnt upload a pic in here, sorry.
I have this up for sale on ebay starting at $49 if anyones interested, check it out there.

Yeah ... Lets hope he is a paying bidder...

I was first bid, but I thought it was the black one ... So I didn't bother getting into a bidding war...

Version R wings very rare here as well, everyone with any model FTO seems to want to bolt a version R wing on their car.

Ive only ever seen about 3 in the past year up for sale online. Most ppl seem to just get an imitation made from a pro shop here.

They go for around $300 - $450 here used.
$730 new at Mitsubishi.
