new deep dish rims

Post by alekazam »

It took us a while to find the right rims.. we went to heaps of different places and got laughed at when we said we wanted a deep dish look. everyone said the offset was too 'thingy'' except one guy who saidl; leave it with me and then came back with these beauties... he even gave us a $300 trade in for our old rims. Problem is since we got them two of our neighbours have bought them for their beat up old magna's!! copy cats!! Anyway what do you think?

they look sick, they fit because the spokes have been pulled back on the outer lip, but the centre mounting point is still in a similar position as your standard wheels. wish i thought of that.

Sure is me honey... wish I had of braved it and gone bigger. They're 18's.. I was talked out of the 20's I was aiming for by the wheel guy.. curse him!! But I saw an old mustang yesterday with smalls on the front and bigs on the back. It got me thinking... maybe I can get a pair of twenties for the rear.. I love that old school muscle car look. I'm Maya by the way... thanks for the welcome and here's a pic of me in my baby.

I think Isotta do that sort of stuff with Swarovski crystals on some of their accessories now, that is, if you want to make your car pretty, Harry ;)

I plan to make a row across the dash from far left to far right diping down and crossing the console above the aircon (pics below) proably another 3000 then another 600 on the hand brake and 400 on the shift. Ã

Thanks Harry.. I'm riding the fine line between glamour puss bling bling and indian taxi cab... very delicate work!
And yes.. you make a good point.. Maybe I shouldn't get the oversized saphire for the shift button until after I install those survellance camera's!

hmmm... all that bling yet you've still got the original factory cloth trim on your seats

maybe you should look at getting leatherette seat trims for your next mod?
