hmmm last time i send a email to importscene to confirm the order, they still haven't reply me today, & its like 2mths now.

I also left a msg on their answering machine, (well it just goes straight to a answering msg every time i rang) but no reply either, i end up getting the product i'm after somewhere else.

on a side note, installation costs will range anywhere between $70-$120 unless you know how to wire them up yourself.

well i got mine installed last Friday and I gotta say it looks right at home in the FTO cockpit...

few things to bear in mind:

1. the usage manual that comes with the kit is in Japanese, so you should print a copy of the manual (in English) from: http://www.defi-shop.com/product/concep ... afety.html

2. you may notice that the RPM is slightly out of sync, but this can be calibrated from the settings menu

3. i have tested this on numerous occassions - the actual speed indicated on the VSD is 99% correct. very handy feature indeed... ;)

Will get some video clips when I have the time...

i have an analogue dial?? 8O :P

since i got the VSD fitted, i rely more on the speed reading from it rather than my actual factory speedo... but i'm sure the novelty will somehow wear off soon!

yah mine's different... mine has actually been discontinued...
i couldnt afford the VSD Concept so ive gone for the Sports VSD instead :(
but the people who did the group buy will get the VSD Concept and the control unit II....
mikey, how hard is yours to install?
did u have problems sticking the display film on the windscreen? i have bubbles on mine, guess it just depends on how careful you are, coz i wasnt

*GROUP BUY UPDATE*
those who ordered it in, fingers crossed will still get it next week as promised.. just waiting for the orders to arrive from japan...

installation was a bitch.... took about 2.5hrs, but then again since i paid someone else to do it so it's easy for me to say hahaha...

yeah i have similar problems with the reflective film as well having trapped air bubbles... i tried to scrape it out with credit card (whilst it's still wet) but it's not as easy as it sounds... the steep windscreen angle doesn't help either LoL...

thank god i got a spare though', but i might need it next time IF i decide to sell the unit/car....

mine came with a spare too...
problem is when the display hit the bubbles it distorts the numbers... 60 kinda looks like 80... :?
emailed Defi and they said normal window film with 40% transparency can be used also.. so i guess anyone who can do window tinting should be able to fit it for you instead of using the spare in case we need to sell it later on.. still have to get it done though....
