Im a newbie with in this site dont know too much about FTO's, Im hoping some people out there can help me out. I want to sell my FTO for 10500. It s 1995 93 000kms, sunroof, all features. Auto Gr. Has potential for development with the right buyer. Well im very confident that the vehicle is in good shape, im hoping that the person who has it will take care of it for the month so the safety precaution would be a contract between the buyer and myself that within that month they have the vehicle for the purpose to realise that it is a roadwirthy car. After the month is over they are able to do what they feel they want the car for, whether it be racing, style, comfort, work etc. Its a marketing strategy that gains the trust of the buyer. I am always trying to gain new ideas and if you have some i would love to hear it please, because im new at this.

I think you should start by changing your ad. Im pretty sure a stock standard FTO does not put out 168kw, nor does 168kw equate to 160hp more like 225.29. The only reason i say this is it makes you look like you are lying (to anyone who knows a thing) and then ppl think what else is he lying about. in saying that i am drunk and could of missed read what you were saying but i dont htink so. Thanks for the input it was referenced from another FTO site probably was a mistake so exactly how much are they in regards to kilowatts, so i am able to change it thanks.

For all the the people interested in the vehicle to be honest i did make a mistake just copied and pasted a reveiw, however this is much more of a proper reference sorry im not a car expert, http://www.importdriver.com.au/Coupe_Targa.htm it shows that the 1994-1996 Gr's to be 127kws at 6600rpms. If your a person that loves to know about power then thats it. Probably able to empower the vehicle more but as with power it costs more. It is again just to assert that this is a stock standard vehicle on offer for 10 500, with electric sunroof new tyres.

So to all the potential buyers, serious about purchasing a vehicle please have a look at this site http://brisbane.gumtree.com.au/brisbane ... 19310.html the wording has changed in regards to the mistake that i made in advertising, however it has been amended for all those willing fork out $10 500. Its not cheap but its not the most expensive Fto on the market. Please the ad states that it is 11600. dont worry we will for this time stick with 10 500 better for the buyers and pretty good for myself as well. Please be notified that this vehicle will be ready by april 30th. So there is time for people who need to save some extra cash just like me. take care and God bless.

Best wishes for your sale champ, there are some reaally good sites for advertising and not too expensive, they include, drive, carsales, gumtree and the usual trading post and ebay. another idea would be to sell wholesale se how much they offer probably around 8-9. however yeah if you advertise and market well and just keep pushing should find a buyer. take care mate God bless.

you don't need to tell us all aboput the power the car has, everyone here already knows that. Just let everyone know the simple things like, colour, km's on the clock, aftermarket features (if any), year model and engine type, transmission type, date of rego, and price. that should be enough info for a buyer to look at.

no offense dude but if you took a bit of time to read the whole entire page then you would realise why it was said, it was to assert that i wasnt lying about the vehicle, it was a mistake i made regarding copying and pasting. So if people are being sarcastic or making remarks they need to get lives and do something more than just make stupid remarks and need to grow up and its either these people purchase the vehicle or dont make a comment at all. its just a waste of time and energy. thanks mate God bless.

No, it had not been imported yet.

He was trying to sell the car before it even arrived to try and make a profit before having the goods in possession.

That's why he was preaching to us ab out all the extras his dodgy business could offer (hardly likely, just a ploy to get someone unsuspecting and naive person in) and also why he was inundating every thread on the forum with how good the car was whether you were asking a technical question or posting you wanted a red FTO, he was there promoting the car he didn't even own.

Got me really fired up.

Good riddens to him.

Hopefully there is no more nonsense until the next round of school holidays come around !!!
