New FTO Owner

Post by metalfly »

Hey, I'm Jeff and I just recent bought a FTO. Really enjoying the car but still needs to get btis and pieces fixed up. (will be trying to get parts off the forum later :P)

It's a 95 black manual GPX and got it from a dealer in NSW (I'm in ACT). It's been modded but the dealer doesn't even know what's been done. As far as I could tell there's 2.5" K&N Exhaust and extractor, Pedders suspension & shocks. air filter, 18" chrome, steering wheel.

It's a nice car but not quite perfect, just trying to fix up everything first and get it registered at the moment.

I got this car cos I really love the looks, dunno much about it but so far it's been great.

Looks good! I'd be happy with a find like that... paint looks really well looked after.

You'll have to put up some more pics, engine bay, interior etc, so these guys can play 'spot the mod' propperly :)

lol the two small lights at the front don't work, and that was a definite typo, meant to be K&N air filter.

here's some more pictures, it's actually got a small oil leak so I'm gonna get that checked out soon, some cosmetic flaws and hopefully I'll get all that sorted out soon.

Its probably k&n filter replacement filter as apposed to a pod filter which is what im thinkin you are talking about. But in saying that anything could of happened to it

yeah the headunit is very crooked, the previous owner had a dvd screen installed in the car but they taken it out as they gave it to the dealer. They or the dealer then put in an old cd player which only cover half of the hole. Right now there's a massive gap in my center console. Plus the stereo surround has quite a few cracks. So basically I gotta fix the center console.

But first of all I gotta try and get this car to pass rego, the cosmetic stuff will be fixed soon after.

Got it for $9000 from a dealer in Sydney. I do need to change the timing belt though so that run the cost up abit.

        Hey metalfly, WTTC.

Nice ride, your gunna love it.

Along with the D Cuatro side skirts, you've got the D Cuatro apron on the rear bar too.

Question though... What's holding your battery in place? Doesn't look like there's anything holding it down at all...
