I have heard some shocking things about carmate.
CHRISTIANITY: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Well I've had a first hand experience from them, they're really dodgey and not very helpful at all.

I went to buy a rear bar from them, I purchased it and picked it up, took it to my smash repairer to get it put on. It wouldn't fit and it was far too big and of poor quality. The guy told me he couldn't put it on and I'd have to take it back, he even showed me while I was there and how it wouldn't fit. I took it back the very same day and they wouldn't give me a refund initially saying I already purchased it. After a lot of arguement and speaking to the boss who didn't seem to really give a sh*t, I managed to return and had to pay a 30% restocking fee or sumthing along those lines.

The quality of the bar was very poor and there was no way it was going to fit at all and when I initially called the guy even cut me off after putting me on hold to speak to his boss.

The only thing I'd trust from there is probably the vented bonnets, wouldn't trust the body kits, probably start falling off after a while.

yeah i heard carmate was dodgey as well but their the only ones that stock different types of bodykit compared to other bodykit places that only stock veilside and DC Lips. well for around my area at least.

If was to get a bodykit from them, ill rather take it somewhere else and fit it cause you'll have to modify the bodykit to make it fit. except for the facelift and pre-facelift front bars and they proberly just got it straight from factory in japan or something, thats why it fits so perferctly

normally most F/G bunbers are a bit sh*t...talk to any body kit joint..OEM or origional ones usually are worth the extra if you can find them...

+1 - besides I like the stock & facelift bumpers better than most kits out there .. Mitsi got it perfect when they first designed the car.. why mess with it? ;) :P

Yea get it fitted elsewhere (if it actually fits).

My guess is they make bars that don't fit then do some dodgey shiet while they put it on, cos my smash repairer said there was no way you could put the rear bar I bought on legit without screwing something up and looking extremely ugly after they squish it onto the car.

Just be weary of Crapmate, reason why they get away with it is cos they're pretty much the only option when it comes to buy aftermarket bits.
