more interesting FTOs

Gold FTO (great paint, but not so sure about the wing and front spoiler....:roll: Note the RX7 factory rims!)

Now this is just the way I like it... (except the wing)

Vlad, i don't think the gold FTO has a Hiro spoiler fitted on it... Looks like a modified hybrid from a Supra or some sort... it's way too curvaceous to be a Hiro spoiler... :?

i think HEKTIQ's got a Hiro spoiler... its gotta be one of the nicest looking spoilers ive seen on an FTO.. very subtle, and elegant....

oh, and are there 2 types of the hiro spoiler? this one;
http://www.mitsubishi-fto.org/aero/hiro/index.html

and hektiqs one? sorry i dont have a picture.... but his one just extends out about 100mm flush off the boot... horizontally.... following the curve...

yeah i think they call it a 'bobtail', but not sure if it's actually made by Hiro though'... it could very well be, who knows.. now that's subtle! :D

at first i thought it was a dcuatro spoiler, but if i wasnt mistaken (when i had a closer look at hektiqs) it had a Hiro logo embedded right in the centre of the spoiler.... but i could be wrong...
hey HEKTIQ, any chance of getting it copied? :D hehhehe

I agree with you Nimz, personally I think that carbon fibre looks *cough*ugly*cough*. But I respect that some others love the look of it. So be it. It's just like some people prefer one colour over another.

The benefit of carbon fibre is that it is stronger and lighter. Personally though, I'd paint it to match the colour of the car.

So does anyone know what kind of body kit is the second one then? I wouldn't mind the front bumper & side skirt.

carbonfibre is not for everyone... only a select few knows how to appreciate fine engineering! :P

the sideskirts are D-Cuatro items, and the front bumper looks like a modified D-Cuatro hybrid with the original FTO ('95) bumper.

It looks more like a modified D-Cuatro hybrid with the Kaze/HKS front bumper to me..........hmmmmmmmmmmm damit that would be very expensive to do in Aus.

I can personally confirm that Mikey is correct. That bumper is a hybrid with the top half being the standard pre facelift bumper and the lower half is the DCuatro lip spoiler. The two have been seamlessly moulded together and the centre bar has been removed and smoothed over. I have had the same bumper custom made for mine and I reckon it looks a treat :D : No Veilside kit for me thanks very much :wink:
