Mate we have tried to get an answer from RTA's of every state no one can give any straight answers whether they are illegal or not.

As far as i know aslong as it has the skeleton underneath its deemed legal.

tipping9: could possibly get it in fibreglass but i do not want to confuse the order. You can simply paint over the carbon anyways it will be lighter and stronger thasn fibreglass anyways.
thanks for the info :D
next Q.
would there be any chance that you could get one of the vented bonnets to an engenir to see what they say about it and if they would pass it and put a mod plate on the car with one on it ?
I know that there would be a cost with it but in the long run you would get the money back as you could put all the info on the bonnet and I am 100% that you would sell more of them.

Unfortunately im too busy and dont have time to get it done.
You will find all aftermarket bonnets wont ever have the engineering plates on it, nor most aftermarket parts as its just too ridiculous of a process and takes too long with a law that changes so frequently without anyone knowing. Also cost to get it all engineered would cost a lot of $$$ which would then be outlayed to the consumer. Which i dont think anyone would pay.

Ive also updated the first post with postage costs and will extend the cut off date to the 14th of March.

Hope that helps you guys out.

Cheers,

Polo

Okay, after seeing Aza's car today my fiance wants a CF boot and stock style CF bonnet.

I can transfer you the 50% now, no probs, just want to know when the balance would be due?, 28th Feb? or just into March.

Ask my fiance, her money :P

I would been happy with the paint job I'd planned her, but she saw carbon and wanted some fibre
I've now gotta find her a carbon vR wing to replace the factory vR wing.

Well the payment cutoff date is 14th of March so I'm guessing another couple of weeks from there.
I have to work - People on the dole depend on me.

Yep it will be about 14-20 days after the closing date. As some parts may need to be made to order depending on how many orders there are.

Wings are 399 + postage
