$9500 that is a bargan. The car is in great condition and worth a lot more.
It would have a home at my place if I had the room and money.

For this car it's not a lot of $$$$
you would be stealling it from him at this low price.
When you get a chance do a serch on "HKS FTO"

This car was done up by HKS for a company show car.

man, right now my budget is around $4000 but i can get another 2000 from here and there, if you wait a bit longer Maybe i can throw more like near $8000 , but definitely i cant go up to 9500. i don't think $1500 is a lot for you guys, but for a college guy like me i would be under depts of friends for long time , i hope you understand me man.

Firstly Welcome to the club ...

Secondly, you would be better off doing some research on FTO prices ... To pick up an FTO for 4k, is pretty much unheard of ... Unless it needs a lot of work ... And is a real early model ...

Especially to come to a forum where people take pride in their FTO's and fix + restore them .. To come in and low ball is not a good idea ... Maybe try ebay for a sh*t condition one, where the owner wont care about passing on a lemon to you ...
I just had to add it ......

I talk a lot of sh*t, usually have to keep a roll of toilet paper handy in the car for my mouth

what are you on about man, i said i would go up to $8000, and that's kind of a reasonable and logical price for a normal fto, maybe you should do search your self, they start from 6 and go till 14 and more , but i was looking for a stock one , they way you guys say it he should have some well sorted power machine, and you're right i just don't want to get a sh*t car with this hard to get money and i don't trust anywhere else that's why i rely on you guys, but if you say his one is good I'll go for it,
how can i get some infos of his ride, like what he has done, some statics, this and that you know.

His car is Turbo champ ... As mentioned, it was created by HKS straight from Japan ... It is a unique ride that is a steal at 9.5k .. There is plenty of info about this car on the forums...

Actually, if you want a cheap one, talk to taffy about the other FTO he has for sale. Thats going real cheap as well, At 3.5K definitely fits in your price range (if it hasnt gone already). The HKS Turbo FTO has over 10K of turbo gear on it alone. It is well and truely a bargain at the price. Most other Turbo FTO's are going for 15K and up as they cost a fortune to get done (non factory).
