Bone stock GT 5.0L V8 SC runs 12's.

Street Fords take the new FPV out for a run.

http://forum.streetfords.com.au/showthread.php?t=4975. It does 353rwkw on the Dyno. The thing is only meant to be 335KW at the fly.

Performance forums reckon bull crap on the dyno so they got the same car onto a forum regulars Dyno which made 325KW (7PSI) at the rears which is a 2% drivetrain loss or Ford a fudging the stock output. What did you expect supercharging 5.0L

I am however impressed that something this powerful will be a mainstream sales floor car a lot of families will probably buy.

*~delightful!~*, wouldn't take much. A tickled gt-r, a hi-po turbo fourbanger in a lightweight chassis, a moderately done evo/sti, tickled supra etc etc then there's the legions of eurotrash that are almost race ready out of the box. Heck my old man's corolla would!

I am not impressed.

Name another 4 door sedan that runs 12's stock.

Some cars that come to mind, that is 4 door sedan quick is M5, M3, AMG etc etc. These cars cost double what the Ford does.

I don't care wtf engine it is, 300+ RWKW mild tuned stock engine is bloody impressive.

Take into consideration drive train loss thats a around 450 KW engine at the fly.

On the less powerful GS 315KW model with tune only. No modifications at all. :lol:

Not really we all drive FTO's, were obviously not concerned with power :lol:

On side note, I destroyed a Ford gt 5.0 ltr the other day
