Where to drive sunshine coast

Post by Kuran »

Hey i'm on the sunny coast, kawana, for a bit. Just wondering where I can go for a bit of spirited driving...Like roads with no speed limit/not policed and are fun! cheers.

Back in the days when I was interested in my car, I'd take it up to the mountains regularly.

Heading up to Mapleton via Nambour is the best route. There's some seriously extreme and challenging twisties on a very steep gradient on the way up. Then when you reach the top there's a few different directions you can take, all with some very fun roads. Speed limit reaches 100 regularly.

Definitely one of the best places to go on the coast, but not the only one.

well i found a place to go fast :P unfortunately i think i may have damaged something in doing so :\ i had to slow down from 180 to 60 in quite a big hurry and now rhythmically there's a sound coming from i think the left front. Fail. quite sure it's not the engine xD

Lol, I broke my corolla on the mt glorious uphill  It's really fun on the down hill, but not optimal for a FWD car.
