Passenger side radiator fan stopped working!

Post by -Nighthawk- »

Hi guys,
my passenger side radiator fan has stopped working, causing the car to reach it's maximum temperature in hot days like today :(

How can this be fixed ASAP?

Cheers

Thanks, is it just a straightforward replacement? Also, what size does the FTO use? (GR model)
cheers

I would prefer to get it done this weekend, if not then I might order one from you.

The passenger side one has stopped working, do you know the size of the one for the FTO and if it can be purchased from Autobarn / Supercheap?

    cheers

There is no generic 'bolt on' replacement option, but you can adapt 12" slimline fans to fit. So long as you're comfortable with carefully pushing a screw driver through the radiator core. You can buy cheapo units from Repco type places, or buy the good ones from VPW or Rockit Industries.

So the easiest way for me would be to just get the OEM ones from dstocks? Don't want to bother fiddling around with the fan and spending too much on it,
