Recommended Wiper Blades?

Post by -Nighthawk- »

Hi guys,
what would you recommend for a decent pair of aftermarket wiper blades for the FTO?

If not, what about some decent refills? The supercheap ones are super sh*t. They lose their colour after a day and squeak like hell after a few weeks of use...

Cheers

Would there be any difference between these 2?

Also, what size in inches would the FTO need?

Cheers

I won't pay $150 for wiper blades man..@@

Anyway, you need a 20" for driver's side and a 21" for passenger's side.

Just go to Repco and grab their Hydro-Blades.

I've got the green ones and yea mine squeak some times but only when there's not much water on the windscreen but that's cause there silion not rubber and they get every drop off the window unlike my old crappy rubber ones
There ment to last longer as well I think

Its a good warning if you hear squeak turn your dam wipers off its stoped raining lol

Put a brand new set on the misses FTO just yesterday because of all this rain... and guess what? Its sunny today

I just bought 2 x 22 inchers (whole assembly) & trimmed the drivers side down half an inch to fit.
You can squeeze slightly larger units on, the 20 & 21 inch is manufacturer specs only.
They were $15 each generic blade assemblies from Repco.

I put a set of the frameless wipers on my car last time, similar to the Aero FX ones (just bought the 2 sizes individually from super cheap). It cost about $150 IIRC, so not cheap but I will never go back. They last so much longer and perform so much better.

i got the frameless as well. but the wiper blades are still rubber and they squeak like hell.
I guess the best combination is frameless with silicone blades and its not common.

I have not heard any sound from mine and they have been on for close to 6 months now.

I got normal cheap blades from supercheap and they don't make a sound and leave my windscreen clear as!
