Do u have one of the hotest FTO's in VIC!?!
Does anyone think they have one of the hotest FTOs in Victoria?
Im curious to see the standard we can set at Autosalon for Victoria and yes if u do think yr FTO is up there with the best, show us a pic of yr ride and some details about yr mods.
Obviously blank out number plates for security reasons.

3 days, no response... interesting.
I've found that most of the FTO owners in VIC don't brag about their cars, and there is no real competition to have the hottest, so you might not get much response here.
Don't get me wrong, there's some mighty fine FTO's out there, but the owners tend to have a quiet pride about their rides rather than openly boasting about how good they are.
For a better indication, you might want to have a look at the previous Autosalon thread to see which cars where metioned, likewise have a look at the past Hot4's mag that featured a number of VIC FTO's.
You might also get a better response if the topic of this thread and the question you pose in your message were a bit more neutral.

*looking at Ruchi* 3 days and yr quiet on my thread... now thats interesting.
This is suppose to an update link Ruchi, why would i want to look at thread that posted up months ago??? People could have done a lot of modifactions to their can since then.
And im not asking people to brag about their ride, just post it IF they think it could be eligible for VICs finest. Im not expecting a stampede of people to be posting because i know that people arent sure how good their cars really are.

You might want to reword the topic and your question then.FTOluv wrote:And im not asking people to brag about their ride, just post it IF they think it could be eligible for VICs finest.
Most VIC FTO owners won't blow their own horn, it will be others recommending their cars instead. If you read the previous thread, aside from seeing which cars were being mentioned you'll also see that there was other issues being addressed (e.g. being an event, funding, security, publicity etc.).

I do agree with James, Mikeys and Petes FTOs are probably the hotest ones out there in VIC as an overall car. Ethans is bangin hot with his blue paint and bling bling look. Havent seen DZYRME's car yet, with MADFTO i think it needed between of clean when i saw it at the mini meet.
Ruchi, i have recommend others and if i had my other 2 mods to my car i would recommend my own as well and that doesnt meen im tooting anything!
This is for Ruchi. If I create a thread, can u please not post in it because
a) You ruin the thread by creating an arguement with me
b) A lot of yr comments arent valid
c) I dont care what u have to say in MY thread.
As I said before if u wanna comment on something i have posted only do it in person. NO POSTING.

I have no issue with you FTOluv, but it seems you take issue with me. Things can be taken the wrong way when you can't see the person's body language or hear their vocal tones and I think you've taken a couple of my messages the wrong way.
I have no interest in arguing with you FTOluv, but I'm more than willing to help. Unfortunately you've taken the various hints, suggestions and comments in a negative way. If you re-read the various posts in the threads where you have taken issue with what I've said, you'll see that with each of them I have only had the greater interest of the club in mind, either to avoid legal issues, to get more people to events, or in this particular thread to get more people to participate.
I'm sorry that you've taken them with a negative tone, but if you re-read them hopefully you will see the underlying tone of help and interest in the success of the club. If you have an issue, PM me so we can resolve it, as we don't need enemy's here, just those who want to help and share.

Brendon's (DZYRME) FTO is like Ethans, its got the bling bling, Veilside bodykit, & a graphic across the body, he also had done his interior & a full Kenwood sound system with TFT & Playstation2. Its in the Hot4 mag so its easy to spot. But then he been to oversea seen last time we all saw it, so maybe he got more "goodies" since his trip.FTOluv wrote:I do agree with James, Mikeys and Petes FTOs are probably the hotest ones out there in VIC as an overall car. Hey man, what 2 mods you going to do? I'm not trying to be a smartass here, i just want to know what others had done to their FTO, as i think thats what this post is all about.FTOluv wrote:i have recommend others and if i had my other 2 mods to my car i would recommend my own as well and that doesnt meen im tooting anything!

For what it's worth, my vote goes to...
Best overall "all rounder" - Scracy's
Best NA "all rounder" (if he gets the body work fixed) - Kev (FTO338)
Best dressed - Brendan's (DZYRME)
Maddest NA (non-turbo) - Eric's (MADFTO)
Here's one that people haven't commented on, and that's the best "stock" (unmodified) FTO. i.e. the cleanest, straightest, best condition, standard FTO. I don't know who it belongs to, but on Highbury Rd I've seen a a symphonic silver FTO that looks stock, looks to be in perfect condition and has this great champagne colour when the sunlight hits it.

I agree with Kev. A little while back the concept of an information sheet was raised, the idea being to fill it in, print it out and stick it in your car's window for any get togethers, so others could see what mod's you've done. Some mods aren't always obvious, and this provides a way for people to know what has been done and to come and ask you questions if they want to do the same mods.FTO338 wrote:i just want to know what others had done to their FTO, as i think thats what this post is all about.

On Ruchi's comments as this is a PUBLIC thread
Scracy's is probably the best all rounder
Best NA all rounder Kev..., u probably rite about that one as well besides the damage.
With the best dressed FTO, if yr referring to bodykit, I have seen photos of DZYRME's FTO and that is nowhere near the best. No offence to DZYRME but there is nothing original about the veilside kit. I would have to hand that crown to Mikey. His front bar is fully custom and looks damn hot and original. Even that wing of his suits his car.
And again MADFTO was too dirty to comment on
but it does look like a great car.
Kev, one of my mods is 18"s and obviously lowered, and the other is kept hush hush for now.

The reason for giving my vote to Brendan is not because of the body kit (personally I don't like the veilside kit that much) but rather because it is a full package.
Aside from the body kit, his car has some impressive artwork and the interior is schmick! The combination of leather and suede works beautifully. His ICE setup and boot is also more "dressed up" than many others.
While others may have an individual item more dressed up, such as Mikey's new bumper, I don't think anyone else in Melbourne has as much dressed up as Brendan or to the same quality.
The car looks better in the flesh than in photos.

*laughs* looks like I'm going to have to clean my car up before the 17th cruise, and show you guys how it looks like clean =)
Mind you, cleaning the rims is gonna be a bitch =) Oh well =)
You guys probably don't know that I had AME 18th chromes on it at one stage back when big chrome was in =)
Anyways, here's what the car looks like clean (besides changing the rims)
Taken in 1999 or 2000 BTW and they haven't been edited.

Well, Thanks to the guys who have left positive remarks in regards to my car. Kev, to answer your question, I havent done anything more to my car since I got back from overseas, because I am now dead broke. I spent all my money on food and alcohol!!
In my opinion, cars can look fabulous when they are all hotted up. But you also need to take into account the cars that look plain and simple. To me, some of the best looking cars are the simple plain ones. It all comes down to personal opinions and whatever tickles your fancy.
