How long has the car been running since you put the stepper in? Can take a couple of hours driving to recalibrate itself, especially after an ECU reset.eddiii wrote:well, it didnt help, its still stalling an engine light still turns on after 5mins of drive, any other thoughts?

Re: High rev and turned off -_-
ok, well been driving whole day today, just the same like before i even changed the stepper, im running out of ideas, i even went to an autotech guy, he cant even find the diagnoise plug, (an yes i look undernearth too, and it wasnt there, but the bracket for it is there, so cant even diagnoise my car OMG help.
Well i might try and do it with my friend, he said to take out the throttle body and recondition it.
Does anyone has any other solution?

So your engine check light is on but you have not tried pulling the code??? Isn't it common sense to see what the fault code is first? Guides to do this on this forum, just do a search.

yes its common sense, i went to a mechanic, that does diagnoise for cars too, he cant find the plug that where its suppose to be, so i cant check the error code, i looked at the guide, and THAT plug isnt there.

I've never found an FTO that the plug isn't there. You're not looking hard enough. Remove the panel under the steering column & look again...

Take your car to a mechanic not an auto elec!
You have had the fault light on from the start, I don't understand why you are going through all this crap with manual diagnosis when the simply solution is to pull the fault code.
If you can find your diagnosis plug, just take your car to the mechanic and tell them to do it for you.

Why dont you now earth pin one to double check the code is in fact for the cam sensor? Only takes 10 seconds.
