Failed my rego check

problems:

Small hole in driver seat
Oil leaks, (mild)
Headlight lenses faded
windscreen scratched
need to replaced 2 rack boots

Are these all necessary in a rego check? i thought that they only check the brakes, tires, seatbelts, lights, etc.. need help guys... im desperate.. :cry:

As for the legalities , just call your local transport authority. Or google it.

Umm, is this a joke?

The guy can't be serious.. headlight lenses faded LOL, I'd call the guy a tool but I'd be insulting everybody's toolkit they have at home.

Just take it to somebody else.

tnx for the reply guys, yes ill bring it to someone else.. its my own fault y im rushing to do my rego check, ive been very busy for the past couple of days and also just came back from overseas.. now i only have 2 days before my rego ends... :cry:

Over here in the UK we would fail the MOT on the boots but FFS - a hole in your seat?

Where r u located?? No idea where u suburb is..

If you are close to me, I will take you to my guy.. You will pass.. And you got 2 months after the rego expires before u need a blue slip..

im here at western suburbs, marayong.

i wish i could have done it today but its a public holiday so im pretty sure every shop is close.. ill bring it tomorrow to my other mechanic which i have it major serviced. told me before that my car is fine i will pass the rego check.

They can pick you up on a 2mm windscreen scratch if they wanted. Hole in the seat? Now that's a load of crap as is the faded lenses? lol.

They can only get you for chips in the windscreen.. And if on the drivers side.. But, that is NSW..
