Does anyone know if u can get the side mirrors to fold in with central locking, and out again when u unlock the car??
Ive got a boomerang 2000 alarm system installed and its set to close the windows upon central locking so i figure its possible to do the same with the side mirrors!!
I'd like it to b a DIY job if possible but the alarm system was installed before i bought the car so i don't really know that much about it!?!
Theres lots of ppl in this forum already done it, its only one wire that u need 2 connect.

With your mirrors wired to your alarm, it's easy to tell when your car is armed or unarmed, and it freaks people out in the car park too.
heheheeh even better when u hook it up to a hard top convertible roof, as the roof open, the mirror unfold & of course with the usual remote engine start.
For those whos going to ask "can it be done, as the hard top convertible had tons of safety relay that won't let u re-configure it" yes it can be done, its already been done to my friend's 206 CC, & SL500.

I guess that depends upon whether you're using the standard central locking unit and actuators that came with the FTO or whether you've got an alarm controlling the central locking and have replaced the actuators (coz that standard ones are soooo weak).
As my alarm is controlling the central locking and as I have replaced the weak standard actuators with aftermarket ones, I didn't need relays to wire it to the mirrors and I would suspect many others are in a similar situation, but I guess it pays to check first. Get out that multimeter!
I have tried this without the relays with no luck.
With the multimeter I was getting +12v for locking the doors and -12V for unlocking. Is this correct? Do I have the 2 right wires from the central lock unit. The wires are both blue, one with a red stripe on it, Coming out of the connector. If these are correct can I simply solder these onto the 2 pins above the mirror connector. I have tried this and it didnt work. I swapped the wires over and still no mirror action.
One thing though.
How many AMPS does the power windows and mirrors use?? Just worried about a flat battery.
When I was wiring this up, afterwoods, I couldn't start the car. It flatened the battery.
Mind you the mirrors opened and closed about 30 times in testing, with interior light on for 2 hours as well.
Car is OK now after a jumpstart and a run around the block to recharge.
I still havent got around to doin this yet, but i do have my windows hooked up to my alarm and ive never had any probs with a flat battery so i don't think addin your windows will kill it, plus there are a number of people who have actually done this and i've never had any reports of it flattenin the battery!!
