Replacing tcl throttle body
Car had traction control throttle body I replaced it with a bore over sized standard t/b Problem is it idling at 1800 I think the stepper motor is not get a signal to move. But with car running, if i restrict the air holes in the bottom of t/b (stepper motor vents) I can stall the engine. The idle screw: is right in too. What do you think if i fill the stepper vents with silastic and control idle on butterfly v/v .OR shoud i work the wiring out and make it operate.

Re: Replacing tcl throttle body
Is the throtal cable pulling on it making it sit at 1800 mayb the cables to tight there's a screw you can use to adjust it
Not sure about the differences in the throtals so not sure
But blocking vents sounds like a bad idea
