Type R Rear Wings

Post by acemate »

HI,

Does any one know were on the gold coast or brisbane can i get a Type R wing, pref factory,,but any ok if they just bolt on,,and is the type R wing just a straight swap with GPX standard wing,or does it require more holes drilled,if any members know were i can get one and approx how much id appreciate it.
I have seen a carbon fibre one over seas but 2 tone look doesnt appeal

Holes are in different places......

If you dont want to drill, youll need the boot as well

    i beg to differ...

    The middle one lines up.

On the GPX wing there is only one screw per side on the end bits whereas in the VersionR there is two.

but its fine if you only do one per side as thats how ive done mine :)

So it is a straight swap

Ive seen a place on Ebay i think in china that makes these bars in carbon fibre with gel coat or in fibreglass that needs priming and painting.
Id get the carbon one if i get my advans refubished in black and got the front grille replaced in black, wouldnt look so out of place on a white car then, does anyone know were you can get a factory manual gear knob, the car i got has a wooden knob which is on the thin side, the only aftermarket one ive seen thats similar is the Momo ANATOMICO SHORT BLACK

Theres a badass ralliart one that meek can get, fits straight on - not an aftermarket screw job.
Only problem is the $100 price tag.. haha
