i was thinking of doing this, but i was wondering like with the cost and effort, is it worth it? or is it better to just buy a new manual car?

Re: converting from auto to manaul
I have done this and I am very happy with the result.
My car has been well maintained, good engine, nice new suspension, I had no intention of selling it and buying a random FTO.

There is no pre-prepared kit as such, you have to do it yourself (or your mechanic does).
