I reved my FTO and after that something went horribly wrong my car sounds like an old truck.. if its at a stand still the car vibrates and the exhaust is sounding low and its reving goes high and low so pretty much the cars stuffed even though it still goes... I think the catalytic converter has come loose or a hole in the exhaust. All oil and fluids are full but an orange light that looks like a box half full of black liquid keeps coming on only when i turn corners or brake.. I think it just might be time to say goodbye to my baby
Do you mean blowing smoke out of the enine or exhaust and what are the effects of a fouled plug or lead im going under tomorrow to check it out but still..
Okay i know this is going to sound weird but after a day of my car playing up it is completely normal again.... The smoke from the exhaust is normal but can things come loose and go back into place again but cause such major problems when they do? because im really confused or is this just a really rare occasion...??

Or .. Stepper ... Or wire off the stepper .. I had a similar problem with my Evo ...
One of the leads off the spark plugs could have come loose, or had a bad connection also ...
I just had to add it ......

I talk a lot of sh*t, usually have to keep a roll of toilet paper handy in the car for my mouth

I had a similar problem with mine. One of the spark plugs was too small so it rattled itself loose, came up and broke the coilpack. Sounded like a very sick car. Had to get a heli coil put in,new spark plug and second hand coilpack.
I'm willing to bet you have a crack in the manifold by what you're describing!
If you have factory headers, remove the heat shields and look for a crack in the cast, it will be obvious as the area will be surrounded by a white/ grayish powdery color.
That would definitely be playing havoc on your o2 sensor and making it sound like a truck.
