Steering to the left / wobbly on the road

Post by -Nighthawk- »

Hi guys,
still having a few problems with my steering for the FTO. It's pulling to the left (slightly at first, but if you leave it it won't be long before you're in the next lane) and doesn't keep a constant straight line when holding the steering wheel from turning left.

What I have done is the following:

- 2 new tyres on the front
- New tie rod ends
- New droplinks
- Wheel alignment

What would be my next course of action? I'm not keen to burn too much money as I need my savings now that I don't work full time and I'm at uni.

When I got my new front tyres the front left wheel was buckled so the guy replaced it with the rear wheel and put new tyres on it. Would this rear wheel which is slightly buckled be causing the issues? Or would it be something else?

Thanks

Strut tops and ball joints. Or just go to a steering and suspension specialist and get it up on the hoist.

And just because it has been aligned doesn't mean it was done properly. Have you got the print out?

Thanks, I'll swap the back tyres around and see if it makes any difference.

Here is the wheel alignment done:

How good are your strut tops and front links ? It could be either or your sway bar bushes park your car push on the sway bar with crowbar lever it if it moves freely replace the bushes
