Hey recently my handbrake lights keeps staying on after depressing it.
The handbrake dis-engages just the light stay on the dash.

I think this means your brake pads are worn out

Most likely the wire that runs from your handbrake is lose, i had the same problem. If you take the stereo surround and maybe even the floor console, you'll see a wire that runs to your handbrake, make sure it's secured & see if the problem goes away.

Or you can just take out the cup holder and do the same thing, rather than take half your car apart.
Also check break fluid as it may be low.

I had the same problem but it was due to the brake fluid being low, check that first (also the easiest to check).

Yup, check master cylinder fluid level. Pop the rubber cup thing on the lid back in place & top up.

My cap was lose causing that light to come on!

Like has been said I bet your brake pads are low so your pistons are pushed in more causing your brake fluid level to drop.
