Carmate FG AB Bonnet water...
My dad says the water pours straight in the vents of the AB bonnet....is this bad? He said after a night of rain the car had water sitting on the engine in the morning. :/
I don't know if that's normal or people counter that issue with some device or part or anything.
Any tips will be much appreciated.

Sorry but this is going to sound the wrong way but you have vents (holes) in the bonnet the rain is going to go in there.
Water will dry up when engine heats up so there is no big problem unless it gets into you electrics.

I would say not.
If you are worried about it get a car cover to go over it when your not using it. Problem fixed.

I never filled the vents or what not and never had a problem and drove many times in the rain.

Im not sure if the ab bonnet is the one I had but if it is the previous owner had to replace the air mass sensor because it got wet from the car sitting in the rain

I also tried for the mother-daughter combo, but that fell through at the last minute!
