Check voltmeter, loose battery terminals, different battery. Than assume starter motor.

So just got back from clubbing. Went to my car to try start... And here is the thing "it starts but there's no idle" - I can rev it but once I let go it dies and there's no idle sound that ud normally hear "e.g tappets" strictly just the revving.. Hmm stepper motor?

so i was gonna do the swap with the stepper, but i checked to see if it would run, and it did? so i drove it home rofl and the thing i noticed is the idle is veeeeeeeery low, like it looks like its sitting at 0, doesnt seem to struggle or anything, doesnt variate either, since iv driven it, the idle usually sits at the halfway mark, occasionally a little more, but this is the first time iv seen it at 0, a +1 to stepper??

i didnt do anything :P LOL i went back like a day or two after (when i had time) to go take the stepper out, and i just started it and it worked been fine since haha, in your case, if u can find it, get a pole and give a couple nudges to the starter motor, otherwise wait a day :P

:facepalm2:

Its 2 screws to get the stepper out, pop it out, undo the 2 screws on the actual unit, pop it apart, give everything a wipe, pop it back together, pop it back in.
