Stock White Bonnet

Post by dstocks »

Looking for a stock white bonnet in good condition if anyone has one out there and you arent too far from me (South Coast NSW). I know there is one on EBay, but that is over priced.

If you look at my other thread (in for sale), thats exactly what im looking for. I am making a custom bonnet atm, but will not get that finished in a hurry. I have removed the vented bonnet off my car and im happy to sell that and currently have a hail damaged white bonnet on it. I am hoping to get a good bonnet tor replace my vented one with in the short term.

Well, this bonnet is the CF one which retails for $1100 from memory with a couple of hundred for paint on top of that. I was looking for around $600. Will give you $200 for your bonnet, so about $400 changeover. I have a modified set of hinges that make it fit better that ill throw in as well.

The freight is going to hurt isnt it...... Thats my only worry.

That's exactly the hood i wanted to source eventually, and at that price im spending my next paycheck already lmao.
Yea that is cheap as hell and i'll take it for sure - just have to find a way to do this right.
How fussed are you on timeframes? Im thinking that it would be the best bet to come down to the bonfire and just do a swap over no fuss, but thats more than likely too far off
Damnit, really want this hood! where else am i going to get it, let alone this cheap
How cheap do you think your fiberglassers would do both shipped for? would have to do mine door to depo (or door for you?) and id have to get yours first as i would have nothing on mine, and i dont feel like driving the commowhore round till i get it lmao.
Im sure we will be able to work something out - give us a pm what you think

And yes STEPH, it is a f**king rock bottom price!

Well, might be convinced to wait for the bonfire. No real harm in that I guess. Would be nice to have it sooner, but as a worst case scenario, that would be OK. Dont see the point in lining the transport companies pockets and they would charge a a good chunk for shipping. Not convinced id be able to use my fibreglasser either as it had nothing to do with him.

Would it fit in a car? couldn't you drive down and swap would only cost about $200 petrol in a camry lol

dont think any bonnet is going to fit in any car, specially an FTO lawl, might barely fit in a wide ute, but would be cheaper to ship me thinks over fuel.
In any case, if you can wait till bonfire, ill chuck you 500 cash, and be able to do a clean swap, if not let me know and ill see what i can do :D
