WTB: GPvR Gearbox

Hello.

Cant find these parts anywhere without losing an arm. Kinda wish I just got a GPX now sigh

I need a GPvR 4 Speed Gearbox for my '96 model Version R plus two CV joints, sensors etc.

If anybody has one or knows someone who does, I am willing to pay with Mi Goreng boxes...or if you prefer, money.

vr is the same as x

there's 4 different gearboxes with slight variations for the shafts.

4spd tip
5spd tip
5spd manual (lsd or non)

Correct me if wrong anybody else, no factory tip with lsd..?

All 4 variants have different shaft requirements. (spline count, etc.)

I was under the impression that the VR's where 5speed boxes not 4 .

Also moved into the WTB area.

There are 4 and 5 spd tip LSD boxes.

So your list should read:

4spd tip (lsd or non)
5spd tip (lsd or non)
5spd manual (lsd or non)

ah k, sorry for being vague. Its a 4 speed tip box with LSD (i'm assuming because its a vR)

lsd were option full stop.

You will be hard pressed finding a tip lsd, despite tip being more common.

Just have to keep your eyes peeled in all the normal places, but even then I'd have it personally inspected and verified it is LSD.

ah k might have to check if it is then. hmm, then whats the deal with some gearboxes with 25 and 27 splines? I just dont understand why my 4spd box from a GPX just wont work in my car? it had different splines, but we managed to fit it in and now its stuck on some sh*tty limp mode. fk me i just wanna drive this thing again, lol
