A full tank of V-Power lasts me 2 weeks - driving to and from school, to and from work and running about.
I fix cars.

Not a chance in hell of getting 1000 out of it unless you run it down a very big hill with it in neutral (200+ K hill) .

i dunno, that 822 was pushing the absolute limit but i reckon on highway driving, non stop/slowing down at all straight 15hour drive youd just get there
just after a service/fuel filter/o2 sensor done of course though, thats why im getting bad ass km's

It has been that long I can't recall what my FTO gets but the lancer gets 5.9L to the 100K's  .

I do highway driving everyday.. But other speed limit is 110. So I sit at 3.5k.

When driving like a grandma with this distance, I only get 520 K's to a tank before the fuel light kicks in..
I just had to add it ......

650kms maximum.
I can really baby foot a car.

To Dwaynes and back on 1 tank, and you can class me as living Sydney CBD if you want to do a Google Maps.

98 octane with passenger and car full of stuff.

FTO is 55L tank? So by the math the FTO is doing 8.4L/100kms, which is about right for mostly highway driving.

Could be right as I can recall some members posting up that they put 65+ L in at the pump. But then the pumps may not be reading true.

That would mean on highway the FTO only does roughly 10.5L/100kms...

Cant remember the last time I filled up, but the Merc tank is 75L and on the avg 1.50 fill up it costs me just over $90

Last time I filled the FTO from a dead tank was back near 2 years ago.

I used to get about 400 to a tank before i realizeed my fuel guage on my car was slightly out and i was too much of a wuss to take it anywhere past the 8L mark. Now going from full tank to fuel light i can get about 600ish easy with mixed city and highway, mostly highway sitting at 100.
As i said ive just done a major service on it, and changed everything, running 5w30, new filters and 100 octane i got 800 out of my last tank, and i know i could of gotten much more, that being said i drove like i was running on fumes half of the tank, changing back to neutral down hills, never going past 2.5k, doing the big ass slow down before a red light so i dont have to stop etc etc - next tank im really gonna see what they can do ;)

I'm pretty convinced mine holds about 55L, being a GPVR I assumed it'd have a smaller tank?
There are two types of people on forums; those that give helpful advice, and the others

1998 Mitsubishi FTO GPVR AERO ;)
