I was cleaning the inside of my car for the first time today and spotted a wire coming from under the carpet at the front of the driver side seat and running up into the seat.
just wondering what this wire is?
also found $10.60 in the car

Probably for the seatbelt warning light.
You'll find it's not connected because the seatbelt clips were changed when complied.

You sure it's your seatbelt, and not your handbrake?
If both those lights work, then I dare say it's a random wire...
But from where you've described, that'd be the most logical.

Take a picture.
Does the wire have a connector on it? or is it bare?
Check if there is voltage.
Can't remember what audio Rambo fitted his car with, but is there an AMP in the car?
Could be the ACC wire for that...

good try phil.
and curiosity got the better of me, just went outside to the car and unplugged it, as you thought it is the seatbelt warning light sensor.
