Sold my spare FTO

Post by renzkuken1 »

Sold my other FTO after the following.....:

Blue slip... Required:

- Brake pedal rubber - $7
- Weigh bridge certificate - $25
- New tyres. - $460

So that was fun then blue slip passed and cost me $130 cause it was an import......all else i did to the car from purchase was replace a broke handbrake cable.
So was pretty happy with the price to get a blue slip.

So now i had my blue slip...had to get rego.
Bought a greenslip for $740 and then rego + rego plates cost me $435.

Yay the car is legal to drive in NSW......

Sold it to my girlfriends brother.

Used money from sale to pay off credit card and buy $5000 worth of pokemon cards. LOL

Look on girlfriends face. Priceless...

Did you seriously buy the pokemon cards? 8O

If so, I am impressed. I hope they're mint, so they appreciate in value. ;)

WOW, I should get my sons to check through their collections, which were purchased new about 12 years ago.

It's just an investment none the less. :)

A first edition base booster box (Unsealed box with 36 first edition booster packs from the base set) are worth over $8000 each as they are so scarce. They are only going to get more expensive over the next 10 years.

I personally believe $5000 in to US currency right now would have paid dividends come 1 month from now.
1 month ago would have been better given our drop, but none the less.

haha i've decided not to get the first edition set as it's only worth 1300 not 2500 which he wanted. I'm going to wait until a first edition PSA 10 charizard comes up on ebay then win the bid on that and put it in a safe until my kids are older ;)

Hey, now that I remember it, I know a guy who's probably got as much as you do. I completed his collection with a dark Rapidash. :P

There are two types of people on forums; those that give helpful advice, and the others
