Are'nt they factory fitted HID as well?
Only the GP Version R had the HIDs I believe.
which most of them would of been ripped out on compliance here too
I got to keep mine, although technically illegal without auto-leveling
There are two types of people on forums; those that give helpful advice, and the others

In Victoria, if it was factory fitted it is perfectly legal, irregardless of auto focus. It's the aftermarket ones that people put into headlights designed for halogen globes that are illegal. They aren't focusable and dazzle the oncoming driver.

We have the glass projector lens so it's focusable, even then if it's an aftermarket kit, it's illegal.

There were numerous revisions on the laws over time, so it depends on when the car was complied and where.
