BUYING Fto Stock manual shifter or anything...
I'm in need of a shifter that will screw onto the stock manual gear thread and stay on.
I will need it shipped before next weekend.
who can sell me one?
Regards.
Christopher.

Several good choices, they ship fast and have an optional express parcel.
All of those ones there will screw directly onto the stock shaft and wont slip off - never had a problem with mine.
I currently have this one in gunmetal grey - can't fault it at all - perfect size shape and grip.

Ok well I have found my one, it's a momo one but it is a three screw setup not a twist on setup.
Another problem with it that I have just seen. The rubber boot inside has been pushed to far in so the screws now don't push into it, they are sitting just below the boot

Can't we put those SCA/Autobarn knobs in our car? Or do they slip as well?
I thought any basic knob which has a thread set-up instead of screws will fit? (The one I have slips as well...so was thinking of getting one)

I think most of them are "universal" which is why they have the 3 allen key screw in type (which always seems to slip if you try). Though they might have one or two that have a thread, i dunno havn't actually had a look.shadowarrior wrote:Can't we put those SCA/Autobarn knobs in our car? Or do they slip as well?

The stock shifter is sexy as it's what I had in my FTO!

aza's momo is 3 point allen key setup as well, it will fit but it will get loose in no time.renzkuken1 wrote:So azza won't fit onto mine then?

and yeah, those allen keys knobs are crap. it'll slip off anytime.
i fixed mine by duct-taping the stick before slipping on the knob and tighten the allen keys. So far so good.

yeah, it's not real tight.Kustom wrote: Betcha I can spin it
Still prone to a little wiggling but least it's working ok for shifting without getting all loose.

In my old lancer I got so sick of it coming off that I filled the knob with araldite and then tightened it - didn't budge then!phunkydude wrote:aza's momo is 3 point allen key setup as well, it will fit but it will get loose in no time.renzkuken1 wrote:So azza won't fit onto mine then?
