Pod filters?
hey everyone.
so i was wondering about pod filters, do they actually improve any of the performance aspects of the car?
If so then which pod filter would be the best suited for our beloved FTO's
thank you for all the help

Re: Pod filters?
Ive got a bit of a question on this. Where do you get pods that fit these days. A lot of the shops that were selling them for the FTO no longer exist. Ive got someone in WA wanting one and did a bit of searching for him last night. Didnt come up with much though
Complete FTO (http://www.completefto.com.au/completefto.asp)
If you are trying to contact me and not getting a quick answer, its because im disorganised. Hassle me and ill get back to you

Re: Pod filters?
Pod filters are generic. You can buy whatever size you like and get the blue silicone pipe adapter which available at various sizes to fit it to your FTO.dstocks wrote:Ive got a bit of a question on this. Re: Pod filters?
That description is very deceiving....
For that price too, I'd expect way more than 10cm....

Re: Pod filters?
I'm guessing the "pipe" is just to bolt the pod onto the stock intake pipe.
But yes, very deceiving.

Re: Pod filters?
Thats correct, but the desription says stainless intake pipe not stainless connector pipeVectose wrote:I'm guessing the "pipe" is just to bolt the pod onto the stock intake pipe.

How long does a cylinder need to be to become a pipe?
You don't call an egg ring a pipe

Re: Pod filters?
Hmm very deceiving indeed.
Not sure if you can get a refund under eBay's policy, as technically its not a wrong description, its just very poor and i guess too provocative that everyone assumes its the whole intake pipe.
Regardless if your keeping it a stainless tube like that should only cost around 30-40 dollars max, ive seen em for less. Go online.

Re: Pod filters?
There is this, it might fit with an elbow to the throttle body, I could keep the filter I got and sell the one that comes with this pipe......
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/380448931720 ... 1436.l2649
But then again it does not state the end diameters

Re: Pod filters?
Here's another option for you.
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/4-45-DEGREE- ... 3a71823cc3
You would also need a reducer for the throttle body.
