Looking for: Car :)

Post by Dylan »

Hey guys (and girls)!

There was a sick looking fto for sale near my area but alas it was sold before I could snap it up :(

Soo I was wondering if anyone was selling their FTO (preferrably GPX :) ) within about 1 hour of Kempsey NSW for $5k-$6k

Thanks a lot and if anyone is selling one that I like they are a legend :)

P.S. I already checked the cars for sale forum but theres too much and this is easier :P

EDIT: Or in the ACT for same price :)

 thanks mate but I already constantly check Car Sales and Gumtree for ones for sale near me. Unfortunately all seem to be around Sydney  and ofc I dont want to buy a car without first inspecting it and a 6+ hour drive isnt in the books unfortunately not for something thats not a sure thing anyway.

Could organise a club member to inspect on your behalf before you embark on your journey  I guess like an inspection to see if you should bother inspecting it yourself

Im more than happy to do it if you find any that catch your eye and you are seriously considering buying.

Edit - If you're interested, flick me a private message and we can organise something :D

Also out of curiosity, would a 6 foot-5 tall person (and im only 17  ) fit reasonably with seats all way back and seat leaned back a bit? :)

I would say it would be close for a non-sunroof model. Sunroof models are lower. You should just fit!

The seat has a little gear that you can turn and it raises or lowers the seat beneath your ass anyway

That kinda tilts it rather than raises and lowers it, although it could help.

And Dylan, if it gets to a point where you need a hand looking at one, let me know and ill take lawso. We both know what not to look for in an FTO

Sit in the seat, take some of your weight off and turn it, it definitely raises/lowers it :p
I'm only 5'9 and my head touches the roof

Its always seemed to tilt for me. Maybe its because I sit in it whenever I adjust it
