Sanded, primed and sprayed the interior door handles in the black one today. Sky blue looks pretty good! Only a $3 can from cheap as chips too ;)

Today I did some work on the black one;

- Removed rear seats for a thorough clean (found $3 worth of shrapnel underneath!)
- Removed parcel shelf cover
- Cut all the plastic from inside the speaker enclosures in the cover
- Removed the old 6X9 AddZest speakers, which were in such horrid condition that I was amused
- Installed new Kicker 6X9 speakers & wired them up
- Replaced the lump of sh*t AddZest head unit with a Sony Xplod
- Fixed the issue with the drivers side window mechanism, it now goes up and down correctly
- Installed fully hectic adhesive P Plates as the missus got her license today!

...I'm now brain dead.

Okay, I'll put the AddZest back in and experience the following fine audio quality;

- White noise throughout everything
- No FM Radio
- Error codes displaying every 3 or so minutes
- Spitting disks out at random
- Scratching disks
- Skipping to random bits of the CD every 30 seconds or so
- The missus blaming me for it

You keen?

Haha dont take it personally man, just a joke at how much (in general) i hate sony xplod, as (generally) their cheap pieces of sh*t. Very few models are actually any good.

Your easily pleased then :troll:

Get some decent high range kickers/boston acoustics etc and youll be blown away.
As i said MOST xplod stuff is just garbage, the only thing ive seen worth merit is Matt's single DIN head deck (which i still think apart from its features is over-rated) but i guess it proves some of the more expensive stuff might be worth it.
Went from a pretty crappy setup in my car to a full top line kicker setup and DAMN does it sound good and go hard :twisted: Came in at under 2k as well including a 12" slimline 400RMS sub, 1000RMS JBL touring amp, mono for the sub putting out 320RMS and kicker 6/9's and splits with tweeters. I suggest the same for everybody else, not xplod (sorry again obsidian - thats my potty mouth talking)

its just some people dont find their music such a priority, xplods are ok, bang for buck. but for people like us, doesnt cut it, i still think the sonys (non xplod sh*t) that i had in my rears earlier, did fkin well... but now boom couple g worth of alpine later :D

Like I said, I got a Sony Xplod HEAD UNIT, and KICKER rear speakers... I know the sony speakers are sh*t but the head units have never failed me!

Also remember this is the missus car and not my own...I use Orion, Clarion and Alpine sh*t in mine :lol: If I could afford, I'd go Memphis! /foreverpov
