I know theres a whole thread on tyres but Im looking for some personal opinions/feedback.
Looking for a set of 225/45/17s for my ROH Adrenalines.. I have no idea what Im supposed to be looking for to be honest, all I know is that I dont want sh*t tyres!
Does anyone have any recommendations? Im looking for a moderately priced tyre that will perform at least decently.. Basically - whats a good value for money tyre?
Also selling my stock wheels with tyres.. two 5,000km old Yokohamas that Ive had on the front and two Bridgestone potenzas (dont know how old) with plenty of tread. $400 sound reasonable?
Cheers

They're what I might be getting when my tyres are due, except I would be getting 235 40 R17

Only thing concerning me would be how quickly they would wear/how much use would come from them.

Increased wear is the price you pay for more grip.

True. But just how big is the difference between those semi slicks as opposed to what Bennoz suggested in terms of wear?

I wouldn't bother with semis unless you've got 250kws (me) or go racing with some sort of regularity (shane)
Semis are shithouse in the wet.

I ended up getting the 595 rs-r's and I am quite pleased with them. I am however considering getting a set of RE-11's next.

I am still happy with the 595 RSR's. They heat up fast and hold the road very well.

Got Bridgestone Potenzas RE002 fitted the other week. Love the tyres, and they grip pretty good. Not to mention less road noise
Well worth the price in my opinion

Will look into those, cheers guys. At the moment looks like Federal 595 High Performance, (its hard to find prices, though) but I'll do some research into those last ones too.
