Only parts we share with common cars can I get locally.
And to try and get stuff from within the country, well.. If I get it within the south island it's cheaper, but I may as well buy international instead of from the North Island...

The FTO was an official import in your country. From what I see you guys in NZ have access to a lot more parts for the FTO than we do!

So tell me Payaya. where else but Camskill can you get a complete VRS gasket kit for $190 AUD?

Never had to buy one. If I had to buy one I probably would have sourced one around that price here like everything else I've bought here in Australia!

All I'm saying is for everything I've bough its been a waste of time, as you have to buy bulk from camskill to see a saving. How many of you buy bulk?

Eg the last order I made was:

2x rear inner control arm bush, 2 x rear outer control arm bush.

$160.00 delivered from camskill, its half the price here and I get it the next bloody day!

The item prices are cheaper at Mitsubishi direct than they are at camskill! That's even before credit card charges, shipping charges and waiting for the goods!

I guess it just depends on what you buy, I was buying a set of Tein pillow ball mounts and even with shipping the price was cheaper than anywhere I could find. (And I was looking for months)

So I bought a bunch of other things as well.

The VRS gasket kit is around $500 from Mitsubishi Japan.

My Camskill order came in 3 days from placing the order.

I paid $90 for my set of Magnecor leads from a different store and they came in 3 days also.

Got the pink slip, green slip and rego done for the lancer.
f**king RMS are a bunch of rip off pricks some times. Rego ran out on 7th December, re registered it today but they charged me from December .
So I payed a month for the car to sit in the driveway.

thanks, yeah i figured it will get me pulled over if a cop is behind me at the lights or something, but as far as i no i dont have anything illegal on the car? unless having the capacitor there is illegal? (live wires in the car)??

Put Intake pipe and pod on with heavy duty stainless clamps, TFI podfilter bracket, filled up powersteering and put the battery back in.

How do you find the intake pipe? fit well enough?

Yesterday:
Tint done on front windows
Changed front coils
Oil change
Oil Filter Change
Washed exterior of Radiator and A/C Condensor
Washed exterior and interior of intercooler
Fixed another stripped bash-plate bolt

Still to be done Today:
Clean Unifilter
Replace rear drum brake shoes
Swap out passenger CV (boot is stuffed, have a new CV so will just throw that one in)
Clean inside and outside of car
Wheel balance, rotation and alignment.

Relatively productive weekend, if I do say so myself

Fixed my horn contact plate behind the steering wheel, it fell off, glued it back on.
Fixed a rattle behind the drivers side rear compartment interior trim, factory keyless entry module mounting screws had come loose, replaced with bolts and nyloc nuts. No more bloody loud annoying rattle.
