It's a little bulky, but it's not visible, being behind the dash :p
Indicators wise you only really have two options, the stock ones, or the clear ones...
haha, wow...
I had similar issues with setting mine up to turn on when my phone's bluetooth connects...
I have up, and turn it on by pushing the button hidden at the top of the ash tray that you can only just reach :p
I want to set something up better, but i'm not too sure what to do...

My head unit sits behind the tablet and I will be using a IR repeater to control it with the remote.
thats a really good idea! my head unit already has a remote so ive been using that to control it, but the signal strength is poor when the glove box is closed, but sometimes its fine, hahaha the remote has a mind of its own lol
The reason it doesn't work with the glove box closed is because it's infrared. Like a TV remote, it needs a direct line of sight to send and receive the signal.

It works because the IR light is going through the gaps of the glove box. The only way to make it work better is with a IR repeater.
Or cut a hole in your glove box.

i might just use a ir repeater, but well see after i install the tablet how much i use the head unit.
also was playing with my galaxy tab 2 noticed when it screen locks u can only use the button to make the screen active again, does it do this while on charge? or will it stay active the whole time?
It does not look like a deck worth hiding due to its value?
I use to do this to my old cars.. Like my RX2. Left the stock radio in place and hid all the "state of the art" stuff.. Well as "state of the art" was for the early 90's.. But old cars like that were a piece of piss to get into, and alarms were not that food either. .
I just had to add it ......

Because they are putting 7 inch Android tablets in the stock head unit spot, therefore they need to relocate the head unit.
