Umm honestly can't remember but I new it would be cheaper to buy the whole kit rather then buy everything separate.
I think it's 1 gauge cable. No idea what length but very long haha
Check out summit racing equipment. it came with lots of extras and alternative tie downs and terminals and things. Real handy. And was well under $200 from memory.

It looks like 4ga cable. You can buy everything you need separately for less than $100.

And yes, you need to put a fuse in on the positive wire at the battery, so that if the power cable going to the front shorts out it will just blow the fuse and not start a fire.

Depending on quality yeah u could for under $100.
U can also buy one negative terminal for your battery for $90

Run a few more to various other parts of the rear end.

Some argue the value, but ordinarily the negative is grounded to the gearbox and frame rail.
Yours is grounded by a small eyehole to paint.

And yeah, fuse it at the battery, as close as possible. (don't Bennoz it)

Really so a fire has actually happened?


Yeah I thought that the grounding point would be abit thicker then what it was.
I did get rid of the paint with a wire brush on the end of the drill, so it is bare metal.
Where else would u recommend to ground it?

Oh ok, picture doesn't show that work being done, but atleast you did that.

Just run a couple of extra lines.
One to the strut brace/ shock mount nut.
One to the grounding wire that is in the middle behind the carpet between the tail lights.

That should suffice.

And yeah, fires have happened from shorting in the car and not having a fuse near the battery.

In factory guise it's not as much an issue, but with a relocation; you really need to.

Also, is your battery a sealed cell?

I do have a mini fire extinguisher in the boot but lets hope it doesn't come to that haha.


Nope it's not. I've got a vent in the side with a tube leading under. And there is also vents on the box lid.


Will probably end up getting some sealed batteries soon. Been thinking of a crazy plan to remove back seats and put in like a wooden bench with a small fridge, tablet and a sub inserted into the bench if u no what I mean haha
