Re: Pic of the month
^ Yup that! it decided that lurching forward and hitting the rear of the police car was a great idea.... Remote starter = now disabled, it was the first time I have ever left my car parked in gear and the remote starter enabled.....
$1000 excess for the police car coming up, plus $800+GST to repair mine....
Long story short, my car's remote has to be unlocked before you can unlock the car, and to disable it, you must hit the remote start button then unlock. Except the remote was unknowingly already unlocked, and it started the car. Handbrake did nothing...

Sorry to hear man.
Hence why you should never install a remote start into a manual car that doesn't have a neutral safety switch that works 100% of the time.

On the bright side, the car will look better than ever once it's repaired, as the bumper is completely off colour, and the bonnet is very chipped. Both of which will be repaired

That pic is gold Technikhaus.
Were the cops in the car at the time?
or
Were the cops near-by at the time?
or
Did you have to wait for the cops to come back to their car?
and
What did they say?

Re: Pic of the month
To make it better, he was sitting on the bonnet! :p
He wasn't too bothered, he said it was the 3rd time somebody had hit the rear of his car.
His boss on the other hand was a bit of a b*tch....
One of the ladies doing the whole interviewing thing thought my car was brand new

I reckon the facelift Ts looks just as good as an 86/BRZ.

At that stage, she couldn't see the front bar, as it was embedded in the rear of the police carbjk wrote:It's great when people think that, eh? Puts a smile on my face. FTO is keepin' it fresh.Technikhaus wrote:One of the ladies doing the whole interviewing thing thought my car was brand new![]()

On that note, you currently can't see any damage from a distance

I went to a hill climb today to take some pics, of the other cars not necessarily mine, but did anyway...

If I can negotiate with the shop to get that bar, I will be a happy, happy man.

Yea, just used white tape to see if I like them, except I'd be looking at building them into the bonnet.

Re: Pic of the month
true true, I may see what the body shop will say about it.
I have to go to two places for body work, one for fibre glass, and another for metal work :p
