Will be putting in some time over the weekend, so will post up pics as I go.Happy to teach other people how to do it as well.

Looks good Dwayne.
How resistant to scratching is this stuff?
I was talking to this guy who told me he had wrapped some interior parts in vinyl wrap but took it off as it instantly got scratched up

I'm also curious about this. I would be very interested about wrapping mine but if it's going to scratch I'd steer clear.spetz wrote:Looks good Dwayne.

Well, the orange one is still pretty much perfect. And given my dirt road, that saying something. Any interior bits thats will get handled often will possibly wear, but if you dont normally touch it, its going to be pretty safe. Anyway, if a panel gets scratched, you just put another piece on.Given the fact that they give a 7 yr guarantee on the material, I would say its unlikely to be much of an issue.

Todays effort - boot (both sides)
Underside took ages.
Top was quick in comparison

Re: dstocks vinyl build thread
yeah dude... thats a LOT of hair dryer work on that underside!
good decision to go over the boot badges... now put another set on over your vinyl and you wont be able to tell...
no i doubt it will pull them off if you pull the vinyl off
