Cigarette lighter cable stuck ?

n00b question here

trying to take out the stereo surround and getting stuck removing the cable on the left side of the picture (all the others come off fine)

is there a way to take it off without breaking it?

They should all just have a little clip you hold in and pull ..

Except the globe.. You twist that, then once in the free position pull out...

F**K the clip on the left was positioned backwards

and even using my keys to push it down the cord still snapped out

lucky I know a few people who are good with wiring

btw the pic wasn't mine, I stole it to use for help

When I took apart my console after the key got stuck I disconnected the lighter...

and then when I put it back together I couldn't f**king figure out where it went back in. Clever cookie, me.
