There is meant to be a plastic backing that you glue the inside of the boot to and then you clip and screw the backing up to the center console.

also polished up the two rims with some rough patches
restored head lights after fitting the angel eye rings. need to get them working now, is it ok to just wire up a switch and run them direct from the battery ??

You''ll need to run a fuse aswell. Your better off running them off an accessory power source. Just saves the hasslesdestinationtoby wrote:also polished up the two rims with some rough patches

What's an easy one to run it off? I want to be able to turn them on & off whenever I need to, without turning the headlights off.. Being illegal n all

Wire in a switch ... Then connect to parking lights... That way, parking lights will need to be on, and switch will need to be pressed in ...destinationtoby wrote:What's an easy one to run it off? Re: What work did you do on your car today?
My wiring for the halos in the fog lights is pretty complicated. I have it wired up to the aerial switch (I don't have an aerial) and also wired them up to turn on when the key is turned and aerial button is off (out).
When the key is turned and I push the button (in) the lights go off.
When the key is out and I push the button (in) they turn on.
So if I turn them off while driving I will need to make sure to turn them off again when I take the key out.
Also have them wired into indicators so that they turn off when I indicate. See video.

Re: What work did you do on your car today?
Over the past couple of weeks I built a new exhaust. Almost done. Just need to shorten the tips as they are way too long.

I've already got the LED strips wired into the foggys,...
I've got a switch, just want to be able to turn them on and off separately to every thing else when I want to..
Battery is in the boot, so it's going to be annoying running more wire from there aswell

Re: What work did you do on your car today?
Fkn YouTube. Was working when I uploaded it a couple months ago. Will re-upload it now.
My old exhaust was completely stock. I recall you saying you couldn't hear me turn up to your place.
Engine noise was louder than the exhaust.
I didn't wire mine up to the fog lights, just giving you of an example of how I wired them up. Say instead of having them turn on with the key, you can have them turn on with parkers and then have a switch to turn them on and off.

Sounds a lot better in person. And unless you have a sub you can't hear the lower frequencies.
Halo vid is 50% uploaded.
It will be up soon.
