Welcome, we all feel the same way about our cars. What model do you drive? We are a bit limited here and are only able to get the 95-98 models due to import regulations There is another guy from the UK who posts here who has a 2001 GPX manual *drool* (yes Seadog that is your car!), i'd love to get my hands on that model, oh well I drive a 95 GPX tip but still love it.
By the way whats the weather like - we are at present experiencing temperatures of 40+ degrees for the last two days - its like living in an oven. We are hoping for a cooler change this afternoon...
Hey guys, thanks for the warm (ahme 40+ indeed) welcome!
My car is a Iscelles Blue '97 GPX manual, I've done a couple of thing to it, lowered, strut braces, Oz hydra's and fitted a competition clutch. Breaks are £G's with greenstuff pads which will soon be changed to either Mintex 1155 or Red stuff ceramics!
I'm from just outside Oxford.
The weather is a comfortable 2 to 10 degrees! And getting colder.......ahhhh for ozzy summers!

Those Mintex pads are very good - I had them in my previous car (a 1993 Galant VR-4, a rather heavy sedan) and they worked very well. I could do many consecutive laps of a racetrack with very little fade. I just hope you like cleaning wheels!

if your after good pads you should contact www.racebrakes.com.au i'm pretty sure they ship overseas... the RB74's put up with heaps of abuse on the race track ... the best pads i've owned... only downside is they're dusty.
