As an electronics technician, they only look slightly dodgy.
Use KiCAD, or Eagle PCB, or Design Spark to design the board, use this method to make them.
These days there are plenty of companies that will professionally manufacture small batches of PCBs for a decent price, too.

Looks like a toner and UV resist home job to me.dstocks wrote:How do you make those?Vectose wrote:Made a couple of PCB's for a project that will be revealed soon.

For those of you that asked how well the wrap would come off:

Piece of piss to remove and paint is perfect underneath. I made a couple of mistakes on this panel when I put it on, so time to replace it. Have had the vinyl sitting there for a month or so. Just my luck that its the biggest panel on the car. Oh well...

Yeah, made 3 mistakes. Could probably have lived with the two smaller ones, but the slice above the wheel arch was about 8cm long. Re-patched and was not easy to see, but I knew it was there.

Argggg, failed again. A bit of colour fade due to over stretching with insufficient heat. Worst part is I have put it all back together. So will have to pull it all apart again another time.Yeah, made 3 mistakes. Could probably have lived with the two smaller ones, but the slice above the wheel arch was about 8cm long. Re-patched and was not easy to see, but I knew it was there.
Also failed with the angel exes on the VW foglights. Took bumper off to rewire to a switch instead of parkers, unattached wire and put it all back together and the bloody thing is still working off the parkers. Ive missed something. Not had a good couple of days...

Haha thats nothing compared to me.
I degassed my aircon to replace heater core pipes with the brass ones, Got it all in and everything, idled the car for a good 30mins and revved it and stuff while the evaporator was out so i could get a look.
No leaks so I thought all sweet! Wacked it all back together with new heatercore rubber pipes as well.
Regassed the aircon.
Drove all the way back to Toowoomba from Brisbane approx 1.5 hour drive. Went to bed because it was late and id been at the heatercore all day.
Next day decide to wash my car, think hmmm might check the passenger side footwell for leaks, BAMMM f**king COOLANT ARRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHH.
I think i was stewing with anger and feeling sh*t for a good 5 hours today.
Have to buy a new heatercore as it must have a pin prick leak.
