Think of it this way, the market share that will be interested in modifications like scissors doors are kids. Kids that can barely afford an R/C car, let alone a real car.
The market share of potential buyers which are both willing and able to buy an FTO in the upper price range will be looking for pristine stock examples.
I don't mean this to be harsh, but an FTO with a non original motor (no matter what the mileage claim may be) with clown car modifications will not net a high price.
If it isn't too difficult, have you considered bringing some areas of the car back to stock, and selling these parts?
