Re: Tom's '99 Version R
Clear side indicators arrived, so on those went. Was so surprised how much they clean up the entire look of the car.
Also put on the RDA Grooved and dimpled rotors with EBC Green stuff pads. I Finally have brakes again! I've probably been rubbing metal on metal for the past 4 months
So much brake dust after only one drive
Also tracked down an intact Roadside Flare which claimed to be from an FTO but has Nissan plastered all over it, so I guess not.
Also took this shot of the car I liked. Although the headlight has condensation in it and now both my headlights don't work...

Re: Tom's '99 Version R
Fairly complicated story, but essentially a motorbike rider hit it as he was filtering across the front and something caught and cracked the portion of the bar in between the indicator and fog light. Pretty annoying really, but it gave me an excuse to buy Dwayne's front barbjk wrote:Mm, nice shot! Btw, what happened to your front bar on the left??

Re: Tom's '99 Version R
Had the front end off today test fitting the new bar to be painted. Hopefully have it all done this week.
Also noticed this plug not connected. Its at the front right alongside the fog and indicator wiring. Any idea's were its meant to be?
Also, I assume this is the Ballasts box. Would this explain why my lights no longer work? Looks to be beyond recovery.. might have to replace the entire HID set

Re: Tom's '99 Version R
Careful with what HID set you buy, if yours came stock with HID's which by that ballast (looks like its been submerged in water for the past 10 years or its lived by the sea) it did. You have to get a certain type which I think needs a D2S bulb to replace them instead of using HB4 bulbs like most of our cars. I think you have a longer housing for the HID than our headlights aswell.
Good write up man! Love you car it looks so good!!
P.s I like the cannon too!

Yeah I originally thought the HB4's were the way to go but I was pointed in the right direction by Shadowarrior so i've got a set of D2S Bulbs and ballasts on order at the moment!
Should have them and install them this weekend hopefully, then I can put my new bar on
