Didn't realise that the L200 pretty much shares door handles...

Got the rear tyres done today, so now 225/45 on 17x9 all round. Will add some pics later and add to the wheel and tyre thread. Can see the lost sidewall height (mostly on the back) which is a bit sad, but I'm sure I'll appreciate less clipping lol. Reminds me I need to chuck some hard u-turns to see if I still rub the inner well at the front.

Can't believe it is stock in Japan and not an option here.. But want to track down the one for the drivers side too..

Nice, and that's so stupid that they don't come with those cup holders here!

Yeah I know..

But they do give you a cup holder at the bottom of the front doors, which can hold big drink bottles...

And 2 also in the centre console.. But one is in front of the gear stick.. And the other would be more for a rear passenger..
I just had to add it ......

I replaced my front stock speakers today with some pioneer ones. The factory ones have been completely blown out this whole time and I've never noticed lol.

Took it for a good drive yesterday, and another today, around some windy roads with nice views, it was awesome to finally put the Invos to test, and they proved their value :D

Serviced the Daihatsu today. Also found a name for it - The Handighini

Only took 20 minutes. Changed oil, oil filter, rotated and balanced tyres and inflated to 37 psi, cleaned down very minor gearbox leak and split driveshaft boot leak. Also did fuel filter.

Fuel filter sits on top of the driver's side strut tower. Literally the easiest and smallest fuel filter I have ever changed. Two hoses clamps to undo, take old one out, new one in, nip up clamps. Done! 30 second job.

No rust at all underneath. Has an exhaust leak or something has been punched out/worn into nothing so its pretty raspy, sounds like herby. Hectic.

Tyres are a 145/60R12 LOL!

Yeah I thought that too but the thing nose dives like you wouldn't believe. Cant get it around a corner with soft tyres, I've tried. Might drop them to 35ish if I dont like how it is at the moment, but 32-33 or less is just really scary...

Tyres are like 60 bucks each without trade price.. will be well under 200 a set of 4 with discount which I can install and balance myself so I'd rather pay the extra little bit and not flip the poor little bugger.
