Did a rear diff seal on an MPS 6 at work yesterday. Was fun but took almost all day. Reckon I could get it done in a few hours next time now that I've figured it out 8)
I fix cars.

Nah only once. Kept getting interrupted to do apprentice chores so made it take longer. Only thing I mixed up was upper control arm bolt and caster arm bolt when putting back together. Wouldn't have made a difference had I have left it but only took ten mins to swap them to how they were meant to be. And nah pretty sure we charge from Mazda's set times for jobs. Admittedly we charge like seven million dollars an hour..

Only just realized it posted that reply twice

Meanwhile, changed the leads on the Daihatsu. Also cleaned out the oil from servicing dad's car that leaked into the boot

Did fuel sender/pump unit on dad's falcon wagon last weekend and changed the oil. Bit of a PITA but kinda fun job. Had to drop the fuel tank out.

Started it. Sat in it. Got sad about the fact I haven't really been able to drive it for six weeks. Caught the bus to work. The end.

Replaced the exhaust on the Handi with the one from spare car today. No more buzzing around ridiculously. Was kinda funny at first to sound like Herbie but got old real quick.

Funnily enough the spare exhaust was a Lukey aftermarket one but it's quiet and normal sounding now, but I also get to say "it has a hectic Lukey exhaust, yo"

Also got the chance to have a bit of a look through all the spare parts I got with the sale. Basically have a whole spare car + one of every part.

Have heaps of gaskets, seals, even a new clutch bearing, new brakes, all filters etc etc.
I fix cars.

Took the intake manifold off of the FTO and started the dubious task of polishing it.
Spent all day at it but no where near finished yet.

Ooo, let me know how that goes bestie. I have spare covers that I've been meaning to clean up and paint. Or should I just get them sandblasted and be done with it?

Finished polishing my intake.
It took all day last Sunday + Monday night + Tuesday night + All day yesterday + All day today.
...and it looks absolutely awesome.
I just need to decide if I want to paint any parts of it red.
I will post pics in my thread soonish.
